Integrates scientific data management, analysis, and visualization in an interactive environment, Runs on most UNIX workstations using X/Motif, C language, and interprocess communication, Uses gridded data in HDF and netCDF files, Connects with IDL, NCSA Collage, and NCSA XDataSlice. However, Envision has been an inactive project since July, 1994, and is no longer supported.
