Supernova 2009bw in UGC 2890

image Discovered by Markku Nissinen, Esa Heikkinen, and Veli-Pekka Hentunen (Finland).   A nice bright type II. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the CROSS discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Camelopardalis.
