A different 3-D looking effect.
Start With some ``roundish'' text. | I used baskerville 75pix antialias 3, | c-N
c-T |
![]() |
Duplicate it and then Blur and Invert U-2 and Duplicate it again | Gaussian-Blur 3 was OK for this text size | a-D
s+a-B a-I |
![]() |
Now Add U-1 and U-2 | a-A | ![]() |
|
Apply Multiplicative Brightness -150 to U-3 | ![]() |
||
Create a mask in a new canvas with the Blend tool. Make it about the same height as the text | c-N
L |
![]() |
|
Now you add U-3 and U-5, and then | a-A | ![]() |
|
And then Multiply U-4 and U-6...getting confused? | ...well I am | a-M | ![]() |
Offset U-2, Multiply U-2 and U-7 | I offset with x=2 and y=2 | a-O
a-M |
![]() |
And finally the fun part. Apply som BCG until you get the color you want | Actually I used it as black and white but why not in color :) | Map/ BCG |

This would probably have been better if the blur around the text would have been smaller. When I did it in B&W it was OK but in color it turned out too bright.
