PolRadTran

PolRadTran is a plane-parallel fully-polarized atmospheric radiative transfer model. There are two related models:

  • rt3 for solar or thermal radiation in a medium of randomly oriented particles;
  • rt4 for thermal radiation in a medium of azimuthally symmetric oriented particles.
The models are written in Fortran and come with Unix example scripts.

Targeted Platforms:
