XESCA

XESCA is both a program and a very young project started with the aim to find new games strongly related with the original John Horton Conway's Game of Life.

The basis of the xesca's games are the same, with a little but important modification: the state of the cells (dead/alive) at time t+1 not only depends on the state of the cell and the number of neighbors at time t, but also depends on the state of the cell and the number of neighbors at time t-1.

With this extension the number and variety of possible games to play is seen increased ad infinitum. Yes, the number of possible games is 2324. Also any number of games can be played combined, so the number of games you can play is infinity.
