ProGenesis The Prolific ProGenesis(R) family enables designers to quickly and accurately create standard cell libraries -- building blocks of digital ICs -- and optimize them for design closure. It custom tailors libraries for design style and process technology, and optimizes them for performance, low power, area and yield. With ProGenesis 2000, Prolific has added hierarchical graphic editing, force analysis, an object editor, three-dimensional (3D) compaction and links to logic synthesis and place and route software. All were design to make the software more usable and accelerate library creation.
