Ng-spice

Ng-spice is both the name of a development project and the name of the developed software. The ng-spice project aims to build an open source GPLed analog circuit simulator. This means that a circuit simulator has to be written nearly from scratch. This is a complex and time consuming task, so we have taken a free (but not GPLed) circuit simulator: spice 3f5 and studied its code in the hope that we could use it as a base for the real ng-spice (the GPLed one). The acutal version of ng-spice is a reworked and bug fixed version of spice3f5.
