Webots

Webots is an Open Mobile Robots Simulator. It simulates realistic mobile robots evolving in a virtual 3D environment. As a user, you can write elaborated control programs for the virtual robots. It uses OpenGL(tm) or Mesa graphics library for 3D rendering. All screen depths are supported.

Webots make it possible to design complex experiments in which several mobile robots run in a virtual environment. Simulated robots are equipped with sensors and actuators which model the behavior of real devices. Hence, most of the developments of a mobile robotics project can be done in simulation.
