Ovrimos Ovrimos (previously known as Altera SQL server) is a user-friendly, transactional RDBMS combining the functionality of a Web Server and an SQL server. It is based on the client/server architecture and demands very few resources, and is also a programmable Web server and has a new HTML front-end. This gives a uniform, cross-platform interface usable from anywhere. Databases can be administered and used remotely with any standard Web browser. Ovrimos has advanced in performance (more robust, faster transactions and all the minor irregularities have been fixed), but has maintained all the features that ALTERA SQL SERVER users have appreciated, such as user-friendliness, cost-effectiveness, low demands on system resources.
