Prometheus Truecolour Prometheus Truecolour (PTC) 2.0 C++/Java is the library of choice for demo programming. It allows you to render into an offscreen surface of your choice and then converts it on the fly to whatever video mode is available on the host machine - most of the time without any noticeable speed loss, because of the fast conversion routines. And it is designed to be small so it can be statically linked into your application.
