MAM/VRS

MAM is a graphics toolkit for animated, interactive 3D graphics. VRS is a rendering meta system which encapsulates 3D rendering libraries such as OpenGL by a uniform object-oriented interface. MAM/VRS helps you to quickly develop animated, interactive 3D applications in an object-oriented fashion. You can use MAM/VRS like any other C++ class library or alternatively as a graphics scripting language embedded in [incr Tcl].

MAM/VRS is a general-purpose, object-oriented, C++ graphics toolkit. It is not a specific, ready-to-use 3D visualization application such as AVS. MAM/VRS provides a high-level and efficient interface to 3D rendering and modeling features. MAM/VRS can produce output for many rendering systems: OpenGL (or Mesa), POVRay, RenderMan and VRML are supported so far. It provides bindings to many GUIs like Xt (Motif/Lesstif/Athena), Qt, Tcl/Tk, MFC and soon GTK+.
