MzScheme
MzScheme (pronounced "Ms. Scheme") is a Scheme implementation, and is
fully R4RS-compilant (including the full numerical tower), and also provides:
- Pre-emptive threads for all platforms
- Generative structures (a.k.a. record datatypes)
- A system for exceptions, where all primitive errors raise a specific exception
- First-class compilation units for organizing program components
- A class-based object system reminiscent of C++
- Built-in regular expression matching tools
- Simple TCP communication support on all platforms
- Portable filesystem access and process control commands
