GCL

GCL (GNU Common Lisp) is an implementation of Lisp that used to be known as Kyoto Common Lisp (KCL). This generates C code which is compiled with the local C compiler and it is intended to eventually support the ANSI standard for Common Lisp.
Antoher extension called 'xgcl' is the GCL with interfaces to X windows, including the Xlib and an easy-to-use interface for use from Lisp.
