YADE
YADE (Yet Another Diagram Editor) is an extensible and configurable program for editing different kinds of diagrams.
Originally the software was intended for making various software
engineering diagrams(like OMT, UML etc..), but because of it's
modularity and extensibility it is possible to build support for any
kind of diagrams. Current version does not have complete diagram type
specifications, but there are a few for testing purposes only.
This release is not intended for people who need complete diagram
types. This release is intended more for people who have needs for
specific diagram types or are unsatisfied with existing ones and can
do some coding.
- Simple user interface
- Embedded python language interpreter for extensions
- Simple framework for diagram type specifications
- Extensive documentation
For testing purposes and as an example, there are diagram type
specifications in the package for data flow diagrams and partial
implementation of OMT-style class diagrams.
