Hydra Hydra is a distributed multi-user computer aided physics and engineering package. The Hydra environment currently offers the following features which exist at both the user and developer level: Intuitive and effective graphical user interface, Supports a variety of geometric representations, Many different visualization modes, Many import and export filters, Good code architecture (claimed to be portable to any UNIX platform with X), Distributed processing.
