Artstream Artstream from Mediascape is an illustration and page layout application providing a complete content authoring environment for any medium. Artstream's vector based design tools, PostScript. import, and internal RIP enable the creation of documents with stunning detail while providing unlimited layering and resolution using compact vector graphics. Creative features include VectorPaint., ShadeGuide., and DynaLens effects, plug-in support, 3D model import and manipulation, photo layout, and precision typography. This formerly Irix only application is now available on Linux. Free licenses are available to beta testers who provide feedback and sample artwork. Mediascape is currently developing additional content creation tools for print, video and Web authoring on the Linux desktop.
