Amira

Amira is a modern, user-friendly interactive Workbench for researchers and developers. It offers fascinating new possibilities wherever 3-dimensional data sets occur. State-of-the-art visualization techniques provide detailed insight into your data.

3D image data can be processed by powerful automatic and interactive segmentation tools. Novel, fast, and robust reconstruction algorithms make it easy to create polygonal models from segmented objects. This makes Amira the ideal tool for research in medicine, biology, and engineering.

In addition, true volumetric tetrahedral meshes can be generated, suitable for advanced finite-element simulations. Simulation results as well as other data defined on a variety of different grids can be investigated using a large set of powerful visualization methods.
