AFML

AFML (The Advanced Feature-based Modeling Language) is a language defined to model the structural and semantic aspects of real world objects such as furnitures and buildings. For that a data model is used that bases on model data of real world products rather than polygons and reflexion coefficients.
AFML is a rendering independent VR modeling language for which shaders and ray-tracers are available. AFML itself is virtual - just a metafile language. However, viewers (shader/ray-tracer/DXF exporter) are available on top of EGR GF. These viewers are free for non-profite organizations.
This specification of AFML is language-independent. It can be mapped to both the COBRA-based AFML and the C++-based EGR GF-API in a consistent manner.
