xyplot

xyplot is a simple graphing and plotting package. It features automatic scaling, logarithmic axes, error bars, labels with Greek letters, superscripts, subscripts, special characters, and multiple graphs on one page. These options can be specified in the file to plotted, or on the command line. It comes with a sixteen-page users guide.

There is an X11 viewer and a Tcl/Tk viewer too, but these are separate standalone routines. It is possible to generate publication-quality postscript files of your plots without X11 or Tcl/Tk.

xyplot is used in GNUDL as the graphic engine.
