PPGP

The Parallel Partitioner for Unstructured Grids and Random Particles (PPGP) uses the recursive inertial partition algorithm and treats 2D and 3D problems in the same way. The main package assumes that the data are already in processor memory, either read in from the disk or left by a previous process. It partitions the grids amd leaves the final information in a structure called mesh. The package also includes an IO routine which will read in user data from disk and distribute them among the processors, with the users able to modify the code to fit a specific data file. Thereafter, data is partitioned by the partitioner. PPGP are standard C programs with PVM and MPI versions available so it should work on Linux.
