Dome
Dome (Distributed Object Migration Environment) is aimed to build sets of distributed objects (C++ library) which can be used to program heterogeneous networks of computers as a single computing resource. Dome addresses the problems of load balancing in a heterogenous multiuser environment, ease of programming, and fault tolerance. Thus, Dome provides a means for writing simple simple and efficient distributed programs. The focus of the Dome system is to support parallel programming over networks of workstations.
