PM2 HIGH-PERF

PM2 Stands for "Parallel Multithreaded Machine" and is a portable multithreaded environment which aims to provide an execution support for highly parallel applications. The PM2 programming model is based on threads and on the Lightweight Remote Procedure Call (LRPC) mechanism. Distinguishing features of PM2 include its priority driven scheduling policy, its thread migration mechanisms and its ability to permit easy development of various load balancing policies.

Targeted Platforms:

MARCEL and modified PVM which are available from PM2's home site.
