DIPC
DIPC (Distributed Inter-Process Communication) enables you to build and program distributed (multi-computer) systems very easily. It works by making System V IPC mechanisms (shared memories, semaphores and messages) network transparent. DIPC can function in heterogeneous environments, does not need any special compilers or link libraries, and provides, among other things, Transparent Distributed Shared Memory (DSM). List of keywords: transparent distributed parallel programming processing heterogeneous environment interprocess communication IPC linux kernel system v unix network remote procedure call rpc shared memory dsm message passing semaphore synchronization data transfer wide local area wan lan
