DIPC

DIPC (Distributed Inter-Process Communication) enables you to build and program distributed (multi-computer) systems very easily. It works by making System V IPC mechanisms (shared memories, semaphores and messages) network transparent. DIPC can function in heterogeneous environments, does not need any special compilers or link libraries, and provides, among other things, Transparent Distributed Shared Memory (DSM).
