Reactor

Reactor is a complete environment for the development of robust, multi-platform, client-server and distributed applications. Boasting features such as distributed, automatic resource management and built-in support for multi-threading, Reactor's strength lies in its support for the development of high-performance back-end servers and middle layers in a multi-tier architecture.

Programs written using Reactor are compiled into native executable format, whether you are running on Windows or on one of the many supported Unix platforms--all without pre-processor-based #ifdefs. Reactor's multi-threaded libraries provide seamless integration with many industry standards such as Win32, X11, TCP/IP, HTML, HTTP, and ODBC.
