Finite Elements Program Z88

A fast and compact finite elements program for LINUX (Freeware) and WindowsNT/95 (commercial) featuring 17 finite element types (8 and 20 node Serendipity hexahedrons, 3,8 and 12 node (Serendipity) axisymmetric elements, 6,8 and 12 node plain stress (Serendipity) elements, beams and trusses 2D and 3D) along with a skyline storage scheme and a Choleky solver. Included is a net generator, a DXF converter from and to CAD systems, a plot program and an user-friendly GUI (the Z88-Commander). GUI and plotprogram are statically and dynamically linked against the Motif libraries. There is NO limit of the structure size for both the LINUX freeware version and the Windows commercial version! Complete documentation in HTML format (~ 600K) is included for both Englisch and German language. Import of the COSMOS files is also available now.

Software/Hardware Requirements:

No, runs with plain LINUX. Motif libraries are statically linked. Dynamically linked modules are also included for users running a Motif runtime system.
