QMG The QMG package does finite element mesh generation in two and three dimensions. The package includes geometric modeling software, the mesh generator itself, and a finite element solver.

For version 1.1, the author did not test QMG on Linux, but a user sent him a Makefile to build QMG1.1 with Red Hat Linux (3.03) --- Linux kernel 1.2.13, gcc-2.7.2 , X11R6 , Tcl/Tk 7.6/4.2. Software/Hardware Requirements: C++ Compiler (such as egcs-1.1.2 or gcc-2.95. Matlab 4.2 or Tcl/Tk8.0 or up is needed to use QMG.
