Finite element based component software for engineering simulation. It includes an application library and a customizable application template based on the PHLEX kernel. It is specifically designed to optimize both the software development process and the analysis cycle for computational mechanics applications. This toolkit addresses an array of problem classes which may be linear or nonlinear, steady or unsteady, single component or vector valued, and tightly coupled or weakly coupled. ProPHLEX is applicable to any class of physical phenomena which may be described by a system of linear or nonlinear second order partial differential equations and boundary conditions.
