MOUSE

MOUSE is an object oriented framework for finite volume computations on unstructured grids. It serves as a development library, as well as a ready to use application. MOUSE is written in C++ and it has a GUI, which has been written, using TrollTech's Qt library.

MOUSE 1.0 features a very basic toolbox for data-handling, explicit computations, pre- and post- processing on unstructured and hybrid grids. The extent of MOUSE 1.0 does not yet reveal all numerical techniques previously developed at IVG. Further versions are expected soon. Current developments include more sophisticated grid gen/adapt techniques, treatment of discontinuities, 3D-version, AMR and chimera-type overset grids, multigrid, distributed-mem parallel version and several CFD-applications. Foreign developments on any application are welcome.
