BASIN BASIN is a finite-element program, that incorporates a physically consistent compaction model based on the equation of state for porosity. BASINVIEW is a visualisation tool for fast analysis of simulation results. Results from experiments with BASIN may be quite numerous (in some cases may exceed 600 files) and BASINVIEW is a fast visualisation tool designed to work with GhostScript.
