GAIO ("Global Analysis of Invariant Objects") is a software package for the numerical analysis of dynamical systems. It may be used to compute attractors and invariant manifolds, invariant measures , and almost invariant sets.

It takes a set oriented approach to compute coverings of attractors and invariant manifolds. Based on these coverings statistical information about the dynamics can be computed - invariant measures and almost invariant sets for example. The methods work in arbitrary dimensions and the numerical effort only depends on the dimension of the object which is to be approximated.
