cspX

cxpX is a software package incorporating the time series analysis algorithms for UNIX/Motif. The algorithms in cspX are described in detail in the book Analysis of Observed Chaotic Data by Henry D. I. Abarbanel, published by Springer-Verlag. cspX will be distributed with this book which will act as a detailed manual explaining the analysis tools. A manual dedicated to the detailed organization of the algorithms within the cspX graphical interface is also distributed with the program.

cspX has the following functions for analyzing chaotic or regular data sets presented in the form of a string of ascii numbers:

  • Conventional Analysis Tools---
  • Display of the time series under the xmgr.
  • Display of the Fourier spectrum of the time series under xmgr.
