AUTO AUTO is a continuation and bifurcation software for ordinary differential equations. AUTO can do a limited bifurcation analysis of algebraic systems f(u,p) = 0, and of systems of ordinary differential equation (ODEs) of the form u'(t) = f(u(t),p), where p denotes one or more free parameters. It can also do certain stationary solution and wave calculations for the partial differential equation (PDE) u = D u + f(u,p) t xx
