Supernova 1999gb in NGC 2532

This page is devoted to information on Supernova 1999gb in NGC 2532 Basic information on this SN, including the last reported brightness, on this Supernova can be found on the main supernova page. Information on the original web pages for many of these images can be found on the Supernova links web page.

This is another LOSS discovery. The rules of IAUC say that you have to have two observations before you can report an SN, and Weidong Lee had one, but no confirmation. So, he dropped an e-mail to isn-chat and vsnet-alert, and promptly got confirmation from Puckett observatory. It's nice when things work the way they are supposed to.
