In this section I have compiled details of all of the panels of the Ghent Altarpiece, and black and white section scans to show you how they all go together. In the lower-left frame you will find a hypertext menu which will take you to a certain section of the altarpiece in the index in the upper-left frame. It will also take you back to my home page. The upper-left frame includes links to the B&W section scans, which will code to the numbers listed with the panel titles on the upper-left. (for example, click on the "Closed" in the upper-left index and it will bring up the coded B&W scan for the altarpiece with wings closed.) The "letter/number" codes next to the panel descriptions will correspond to the ones on the B&W scans, and their full color counterpart. The "Information" selection in the lower menu is currently empty- but there will be information on the history of the altarpiece and it's inscriptions in the near future.
